Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to an Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian and Indian. She choreographed her 11 year old dance that led to her being an appearance on German TV appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden, who turns into an energetic Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English in New York. She took classes in acting with the HB Studios. However, she left to pursue improvisational comedy at The Groundlings School. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as Russian-speaking mom Olga. At the age of 13, her parents divorced. Her father relocated her family to East Meadow New York. She is best known as the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. Her recurring role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
